February sure has been an exciting month for all of us in Metapoly! A lot has happened and here’s a recap on the key highlights to keep everyone updated so you don’t have to worry about missing a thing even while you are away.

Let’s go and dive into more details about the month of February in Metapoly!

Roadmap for GameFi “The future of Metapoly World”

We have recently released a medium update on the roadmap of GameFi component that we are introducing into Metapoly.

There are a few key highlights in the Metapoly World:

Genesis NFTs: The OGs. The believers.
Factions NFTs: Usable avatar NFTs
Metapoly City (Q2 onwards, 2022)

As we are approaching to genesis NFT minting, we have officially closed phase 1 WL submission. However there are some remaining slots reserved for partnership projects as well as marketing campaigns. Meanwhile phase2 WL submission is now opened to all members. Please join discord to submit your WL if you have not done so!

After the genesis NFT mint and product launch, we will introduce Factions NFTs which have different benefits and abilities. By holding the NFTs of different factions, citizens will be able to choose the type of gains that fits their risk appetites.

Around Q2 this year, Metapoly World user phase will be built, where the whole ecosystem start to form up.

Ape Gang NFT x Metapoly: Limited Edition Genesis NFTs

We have partnered with Ape Gang NFT, a collection of unique Ape PFPs. As Ape Gang is a promising NFT project with full commercial rights on their NFTs, along with their social media clout, community engagement, Metapoly is very proud to be their partner.

In recognition of this Partnership, Metapoly has released a Limited Edition of Genesis NFT with added use cases. (Check IDO details on Metapoly Genesis NFT here.)

Decentraland’s 2nd Anniversary Community Campaign

Decentraland, one of the biggest virtual reality platforms in the Metaverse, recently celebrated their 2nd Anniversary last February. As Metapoly’s one vision of a fractionalized and democratized Metaverse, we came up with a week-long event to bring Decentraland and Metapoly’s community together in and out of Decentraland.

We partnered with Zero2Hero, a renowned Decentraland game show host who guided the community of Metapoly inside. This has also created unity and recognition of Metapoly inside the Decentraland’s community, and as a bonus they get a POAP (Proof of Attendance Protocol) if they join the event. Sweet!

Weekly “#MetaTalks”: Everything and Anything about Metaverse

Metapoly’s Twitter Space Segment “#MetaTalks” is initiated every Thursday. This is made for new and experienced people in the DeFi, Metaverse and NFT Community to connect and support each other. Also, you can get exclusive updates about Metapoly every time!

It is an open space where everyone can join and share their thoughts and insights in the metaverse.

New Website and Improved UX

The newest and more intuitive Metapoly website is now LIVE!

Metapoly has greatly improved the website, focusing more on introducing the Metapoly ecosystem, along with our roadmap of GameFi in Metapoly.
