To celebrate our Genesis NFT Minting, Metapoly teamed up with Asiaverse to hold a grand party at CryptoVoxel. For the first time, Metapoly community members gathered in the metaverse and enjoyed the party with DJ Peter D.Outlawz.
Even after all the party, Metapoly had to contribute to the whole community once again! So among those who have minted Metapoly Genesis NFT, Metapoly ran a giveaway campaign with Arcadeland land NFT. This campaign was to connect with other metaverse projects, but also to show our appreciation towards our community.

This month, Cindy, our core team member, was featured on Benzinga, where she tackled the fundamental issue of the metaverse: lack of liquidity. Here’s some highlights of the article:
Purchasing virtual assets is expensive. With Bored Apes selling at $180,000 and land on Decentraland valued starting at around $10,000, these sums are astronomical for most investors. It will be tough to see returns if the metaverse remains financially inaccessible to the majority of people around the globe.
One way to solve the issue of liquidity in the metaverse is by fractionalizing all kinds of digital assets, from land to NFTs. There are already fractionalized NFT vaults that create opportunities for liquidity by allowing investors to buy shares in NFTs, instead of having to buy the whole asset themselves.

Community activities
In the past one month, the Metapoly team has been continuing with meeting and connecting different metaverse projects through #MetaTalks, the weekly twitter space. Also at the same time, to keep our community engaged and give back the value to our community, various fun activities have been running through discord and twitter.

In the weekly MetaTalks, we got a big crowd of 85 people, especially on 7th April, where we invited Game Guilds in the metaverse — special thanks to the guest speakers from Bigbrain Holdings, Index Game, PathDAO for making the stage extra insightful.
On 14th April, we invited Jeran Miller, Kasey from Cryptovoxels, Joel from Citadao.io to discuss ‘Why democratize the metaverse’. It was a truly inspiring space, and also very educational for the Metapoly community.
- Weekly Learn & Earn Game Night
We are hosting a weekly game night on discord, where we enjoy the time with the community. In the meantime, the community gets to learn more about Metapoly through playing some fun games.
- Ambassador Program
We have also finally launched our ambassador program to encourage more communities to contribute to the project as we truly believe Metapoly is only going to succeed as a platform, a DAO where people gather and build the metaverse future together.
Since we launched this program, there have been more than 200 applications received so far. We’re diligently sorting the most talented and resourceful applicants, so stay tuned for the beginning of our ambassadors’ activities!

We have just kicked start another month, and there’s tons to look forward to in May.
- The product testnet is going to be open for the community to test before the official beta launch. Stay tuned with the announcement in all socials.
- Metapoly is co-hosting a private party in Miami in conjunction with Permissionless. Exclusive invitation will be accessible for Metapoly community members. The core team is looking forward to meeting some of our community IRL!
- Factions NFT under designing. We will be sharing more exciting news along the way.
- Weekly community activities will be planned with a leaderboard and incentivizing system to encourage community participation.
- Discord alpha group launching soon where the members could access metaverse news/data analytics and more perks.
Although the market is a bit soft at the moment, we believe that with the bottoms-up community building as well as the strategic planning for launch, Metapoly will rise in no time. Lets #buidl the metaverse future D33Dgens!
